If you want to know a little about me I guess I will start with my educational background. I completed my degree in December of 2006 at Kendall College of Art and Design and graduated the following spring. I have a Bachelors in Fine Art and I majored in Illustration.
I am married and have a beautiful four year old boy and a brand new little girl! I am a stay at home mom and plan to home school at least through the early elementary years. We live in Northern Michigan in our "Little House on the Hill'. Our house is a work in progress and has been keeping us busy fixing it up little by little over the last couple years.
Being a mom is the best thing that ever happened to me. I absolutely love it! I have the sweetest, kindest, and smartest little guy who has been an absolute blessing! He gives me so much joy! We now have a daughter who will be 1 in May. Her personality is showing more and more everyday. How much busier life has gotten now having two!
I created my shop on Etsy.com as a way to sell my art work and still be at home with my son. So far it is going well. Slowly working on a healthy balance between my son, my art, and the housework. Being a mom definitely comes first. I find myself repurposing different things and being crafty just for me a lot these days too.
